A young DOC [Denominazione di Origine Controllata, Denomination of Controlled Origin] for a Wine-culture of far-reaching tradition.
Its territory is above all rich of history, with the jewel of Massa Marittima, and other medieval villages crowning the northern part of the Maremma Grossetana. In this natural milieu, on the hills and at their feet, the wines of the DOC Monteregio are born, eight typologies representing a complex reality of the local vineyards' world, offering to the producers the chance to give value to a wide range of wines which have been long time part of Grosseto's wine heritage.
