The Tenuta Carretta estate, histroically a viticultural and winemaking farm in the southern Piedmont region, Piobesi d'Alba which extends from podio vineyard through Bric Paradiso vineyard. Archive notes confirm the existence of the cultivated landed estate since early 1584, then belonging to high ranking families.

The re-launching of Tenuta Carretta started in 1985, when the Miroglio family, well known over the world as a leader in textiles and clothing, bought Tenuta Carretta with the intention of bringing the land estate back to its historic grand splendour. The family dove imediately into producing the highest quality wines possible, keeping with traditions.
